Transforming Health with the Power of the 5 Elements

The 5 Elements Help Us See the Whole Person
Traditional East Asian Medicine grew from thousands of years of observing the natural world and recognizing that its patterns are also reflected within us. One framework for understanding these patterns is the 5 Elements: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water. The 5 Elements help us understand the whole person—their physical constitution, natural strengths and vulnerabilities, personality, emotions, and ways of experiencing and responding to the world. With this understanding, we can move beyond one-size-fits-all approaches and ask a much more useful question: What does this individual need to thrive? |

Who would you like to understand?
Every Child Is DifferentReveal & Heal began with a simple idea:
What if we could better understand a child’s unique nature so that we could provide what they truly need to thrive? Children come into the world with their own physical and mental strengths, sensitivities, and ways of responding to the world. What supports one child may not be what supports another. The ancient wisdom of the 5 Elements gives us a clear way to understand these differences—and what each child may need to thrive. What began as a way to better understand our children became a way to better understand ourselves—and, for practitioners, the people in our care. |
